The guys and girls at the Sidcup MCC have been hard at work at Canada Heights today getting ready for the big event on Sunday. In temparatures approaching 20 degrees the final track marking posts were put in late this afternoon, ready for painting and as our picture shows the start gate has been set in front of the concrete pad so the start will be on sand.The gates open at 8am on Saturday when the Teams and Riders will start to arrive and the ACU Events team will set the Maxxis arch at the end of the start straight.
The action starts at 9am on sunday with timed Qualification with the first of eight championship races off the line at 12.15pm.
