Our first image from the ACU Events team at Lyng shows the paddock all marked out with the ACU Hospitality Unit already in position, awaiting the arrival of the teams and riders on Saturday morning.Today (Friday) the track was lightly graded which has allowed air to get into the sandy circuit which has been described as in perfect racing condition. Concerns earlier in the week with regard to the paddock have been unfounded as our picture shows.
A new spectator area has been opened up by the Norwich Vikings Club on the far side of the circuit whiich allows viewing to the majority of the circuit which is bound to be popular with race fans.
We will bring you an up to date report after Technical Control tomorrow, but Qualifying and Race reports may be sparse on Sunday due to poor internet access at the Norfolk venue.
The action starts at 9am on Sunday with the qualifying sessions whilst the first race is due off the line at 12.15pm
